I am a brand ambassador inside and outside the walls of SK.  Typically I’m in the office from 8 – 12 noon and after that taking clients out or on appointments with influencers.  I attend networking events, Chamber of Commerce events, etc to ensure people know who we are, what we do, and how we are involved in the community

How would you describe the company culture of Storey Kenworthy?

It’s a family.  You  matter here.  You’re not just a number in a department.  Our President has an open door policy and it’s a true open door policy.  Our Core Values are indicative on how we live day-to-day.  They are not just words on paper; they are truly lived out by employees and by leadership.  We make a difference because of our people.

Which of the 7 Core Values is your favorite?  The one that inspires you most?  Why?

Integrity & Ethics.  It’s most important to me because I’m not just selling SK, I’m selling myself.  I want people to know, like and trust me and I want to provide them a product and service that’s reflective of that.  You can buy a chair from anybody; you’re buying an experience from Brett and SK.

What drew you to come work for Storey Kenworthy?

What would say is the best part of your job?

Outside of work, what do you do to stay fulfilled, busy, balanced and focused on your personal growth?

I’m super big on family and friends.  I enjoy golfing.  I’m a volunteer wresting coach and serve as an ambassador at Grandview University.  I’m extremely outgoing;  you’ll find me on a patio, smoking meats, watching football or doing anything as long as it’s with other people.

What would you tell somebody that is thinking about coming to work for Storey Kenworthy?

The big pillars here are culture, work/life balance, variety of work, and the ability to impact change.  Once you work for us, you won’t want to work anywhere else.
